The HNG Internship is a bold attempt to transform Africa's educational system. It's the link between learning to code, honing digital abilities, and achieving world-class status. HNGi8 has partnered with Ingressive For Good (I4G) to provide tech skills to young Africans in need, allowing them to impact and contribute to Africa's social and economic growth.

The program comprises of 10 stages to run for eight weeks. Each week comes with a new task. Anyone that completes a task moves to the next stage. Those that are unable to complete their tasks gets deactivated. And they are always welcome to try again the following year.

There are various learning tracks in the program;

  • UI/UX
  • Frontend track
  • Backend track
  • Digital marketing
  • Entrepreneurship

You get to pick and join any track(s) of your choice of learning.

My goals for HNGi8

In the course of the 8-week program, my goals are:

  • Network and make new friends
  • Learn how to communicate better
  • Improve my coding skill

At the end of the program, I hope to achieve

  • New friendships
  • Improved coding skill
  • Get my first tech job
  • And win a HNG T-shirt 😁
